I am an experienced registered Architect of 25+ years experience, working both nationally and internationally. I grew up on the west coast of the Waikato at Te Akau and now spread my time between Auckland, the Waikato and the Coromandel Peninsula. My speciality is new builds and renovations, and I have a demonstrated history of working in the construction industry.

Fascinated by architecture that is functional as well as beautiful, Carolin Friese joined the University of Wuppertal (Germany) to study, live and breathe architecture. After completion of her university degree her passion for traveling and nature brought her to settle in Queenstown New Zealand. Winning a Resene colour award while working with Mary Jowett Architects helped to inspired her to create her own practice in 2018. Growing up in Germany where new buildings are built to the highest standards she is highly motivated to utilize her skills and knowledge to design beautiful, sustainable and energy efficient homes for New Zealander’s.
